Our university has in its offer three fist-cycle programs. One is available in the October intake and two are available in the February intake. Below is the short description of the programs along with a detailed description in the file.
You can start a programme in October. The course lasts for 7 semesters. Alumni of the Materials design and logistics degree programme of a general-academic profile, have knowledge of engineering materials (metal, ceramic, polymer and composite materials) combined with logistics knowledge. Alumni are familiar with materials manufacturing/processing technologies, the relationship between their structure and properties and testing methods. The acquired knowledge of the functioning of modern logistics systems, the basics of economic sciences, organisation and management, as well as managerial skills, allow alumni to be employed in many social and economic sectors. In addition, alumni have knowledge of how to select engineering materials for various applications and the ability to use computer-aided materials design. They are familiar not only with the theoretical foundations of logistics, but also with its practical applications and tools: computer programmes and information technology.

The study of Biotechnology offers students to gain skills in combining engineering technologies with modern methods of experimental biology. Graduates of this interdisciplinary program will be prepared to collaborate with experts in various fields and to undertake complex tasks, including identifying and solving engineering problems related to the design and operation of bioprocesses, taking into account their impact on the environment. The study provides broad competence in the areas of biotechnology and related fields, such as the biotechnology industry or research and diagnostic laboratories performing analysis of environmental samples.
The curriculum is based on an interdisciplinary approach, combining knowledge from biology, chemistry, physics, and information sciences, economics and production quality. It enables students to acquire both a solid theoretical foundation and practical skills, with an emphasis on biological processes and their application in the bioeconomy. During the course of study, students also learn to assess the economic impact of biotechnology activities and market analysis in the commercialization of scientific achievements. You can start this course in February and it lasts for 7 semesters.
