Documents

You can present the apostille or legalisation of your educational documents after arriving at our university. Please note that the university may request it during the recruitment process. Also, remember that it must be done in the country where the documents were issued.

Sworn translations into Polish are not required.

They are only needed if your educational documents are issued in a language other than the language of instruction for the program you are applying to.

If, in addition to the documents in their original language, you also have official English translations, no translation is required at all.

However, if you do not have official English translations of your documents, you will need to have them translated into Polish, but you can do so after you arrive to university.

You must have your diploma legalised (authorised). If a country in which a given document was issued is a party to the Convention Abolishing the Recruitment of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents, concluded in The Hague, 5 October 1961, the document’s legalisation is replaced by an Apostille certificate attached to it. The list of countries – parties to the Convention and the institutions authorised to issue the Apostille is available here.
