The Welcome Centre is a place created for international students, PhD students, researchers, and administrative staff who are beginning their journey at our university. Our goal is to support them during their first days in a new country and to help them settle into a new academic, cultural, and social environment.

An important aspect of our activities is the promotion of international academic mobility – we encourage both students and university staff to participate in international projects and initiatives. In our daily work, we strive to bring together full-degree students, exchange participants, and Polish students, creating an open and welcoming intercultural community. 

Project title: Czestochowa University of Technology for All - CUT for ALL

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the funds of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) under the programme European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS). The project is implemented under the “Welcome to Poland – 2024 Call for Proposals” programme coordinated by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

Project description: The main objective of the project is the internationalisation and increasing the competitiveness of Czestochowa University of Technology on the international market by strengthening its capacity to welcome and support people from abroad, including:

• developing the competencies of administrative, academic, and research staff in the area of cooperation with people from abroad, as well as in welcoming and providing services to participants of international exchange programs;
• establishing a Welcome Centre;
• promoting CUT as a place for education, scientific research, and academic work for people from abroad (on-site/virtual fairs, social media).
  

Target group: The target group of the project consists of its direct participants: the University's administrative, teaching, and research-and-teaching staff.
