Teaching Support
Students with disabilities and special needs have the opportunity to tailor their education to their individual needs. In particular, they may apply for:
- changes to the conditions of participation in classes,
- adaptation of physical education classes to the type and degree of disability,
- attendance of an assistant (supervisor) for the student with disabilities or a sign language interpreter at classes, lectures, tests, quizzes, exams, etc., upon obtaining the instructor's consent,
- grading of classes, tests, quizzes, assignments, projects, etc. individually (alternative forms of grading),
- alternative forms of examination (written, oral, electronic, mixed),
- extension of the exam duration,
- recording, with the instructor's consent, solely for personal use, of the material discussed in class in an alternative format (recording, taking photos),
- access to devices Supporting resources,
- assistance in obtaining teaching materials necessary for the course of study,
- individual conditions for library use,
- other assistance necessary for the course of study.
Students with disabilities and special needs, in particular, have the right to:
- a designated seat in the classroom during classes – this applies to students with mobility impairments, visual impairments, hearing impairments, or deafness;
- a seat in the student residence hall adapted, to the extent possible at the Czestochowa University of Technology, to their needs based on their level of disability;
- entrance and parking on Czestochowa University of Technology grounds, both in designated areas and outside them;
- use of services/support for persons with disabilities available at the Czestochowa University of Technology.
