AUTUMN semester 2024/2025: August 31st 2024
SPRING semester 2024/2025: January 31st 2025

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
To be intaken by our university, you have to be nominated by your home university/coordinator direct (office-to-office), prior.

Keep the procedure as follows (only 6 easy steps left to apply successfully)

To be in-taken by our university to Erasmus+ mobility you have to be nominated by your Home University Erasmus+ coordinator direct (office-to-office), prior.

We advise you to check in advance if our offer of components (subjects/lessons) available in English to Erasmus+ KA131 students suits you: https://pcz.pl/en/erasmus/english-taught-components-subjects-at-cut. If the components from our offer looks fine to you, please contact to your Home University Erasmus+ Office/coordinator to consult the list with and to check if possible to construct your study program by available components. If yes, ask them for possibility of nomination to our university.

We are: Czestochowa University of Technology (PL CZESTOC01) / POLAND

Make sure, if you had been nominated by your Home University to Erasmus+ mobility to CUT or not. If not yet, please ask your Home Erasmus+ coordinator to send to us, as soon as possible, your nomination at: erasmus@pcz.pl or by the system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Nomination should be sent to us by the Erasmus+ office or by the coordinator of your Home University, directly (office-to-office). There is no exception from this rule.

When our University receives you nomination, you will be instructed directly (e-mailed) how to process your application in our systems (you will also receive the guide in PDF).

What should you prepare in advance? What will be needed?

  1. Your personal identity document data

Passport data  - (if you are non-UE citizen it is mandatory).

*National ID card data may be also used instead of the passport data (but this option is available to EU citizens, only)

WARNING I: Only the document with the validity date longer than expected end of the mobility should be used by you in application form. To make sure – check our academic calendar: https://pcz.pl/en/erasmus/academic-calendar-at-cut-2023-2024

WARNING II: If you enter wrong/incorrect passport data to application form, it will be also wrongly given in your acceptance letter by us, after (so, check data twice before you will confirm it in the system, especially if you are non-EU citizen and such document needed later to visa process of yours).

  2. It is advised to have components already consulted with Home University coordinator to be proposed to your Learning Agreement. The list: https://pcz.pl/en/erasmus/english-taught-components-subjects-at-cut

  3. It is advised to have got your ESI number already known (an individual ID number is generated by your Home University to Erasmus+ mobility students – best to ask your coordinator about it).

You are strongly advised to check the components (subjects/lessons) in advance and consult your choice with your Home Erasmus Coordinator. The list: https://pcz.pl/en/erasmus/english-taught-components-subjects-at-cut

If application form already done as proposed by STEP2, you may use components listed by you previously – codes and ECTS values of each component were verified by our system already – so you may use it to your Leaning Agreement creation, easily (to avoid mistypes).

Digital Learning Agreement (LA) processing: How to make it? Where to make it?

Please contact your Home University Erasmus+ Office to check if your university has got their own system to create and to process digitally your LA and to send it to EWP (Erasmus Without Paper).  If yes – you should use that system no other one.

If your Home University has not got any system for digital LA processing, you may try to use OLA system instead https://learning-agreement.eu/ (but previously make sure if you Home University allows students to do so).

If your university do not provides system for students to create Learning Agreements in digital mode nor they do not allows students to create it in OLA system, we should be contacted by your Home University Erasmus+ Office direct (office-to-office) to confirm that situation.

Therefore, in such situation please ask your Home University to contact to us directly at erasmus@pcz.pl - we will try to find alternate solution suitable to both universities.

NOTE THAT in all the cases mentioned above we strongly advise you to put in the Learning Agreement the exact daily dates of planned period of your mobility (to do not use the year and the month only, but to use the days also), if technically possible in the system used by you.

When application form is done and digital Learning Agreement made, approved and confirmed by you, your Home University and by us in the system – an official Acceptance Letter is issued and sent to you.

PS. Please forgive us if it will take some more time than expected by you – the system is brand new also to us – full implementation is in progress. We may assure you that we are doing our best to process your documents and to make it done as soon as possible.

When Acceptance Letter is given – you will also receive dormitory booking application to mark your detailed choice (if you declared in the initial application form in STEP2 that you wish to be accommodated in our dorms). When dorm application sent back to us by you at erasmus@pcz.pl – you should receive an official dormitory booking confirmation, shortly.

Which documents should I take with me to my mobility?

  1. Personal Identity document - ie. Passport or national ID card.
    • Please check validity date of it in advance!
    • If you are EU citizen you should have passport or national ID card.
    • If you are non-EU citizen passport is mandatory

  2. VISA
    • Not needed to EU-citizens to enter Polish territory.
    • But if you are non-EU-citizen you should contact to Polish consular or embassy for detailed information regarding to it. In such case, do not forget to make sure if the right to be in Poland through your whole mobility period is confirmed, before you will start your journey. The main rule is that visa or temporary residence card issued by EU country is mandatory to non-EU citizens to be legally at Polish territory.

  3. INSURANCES
    • It is mandatory to all incoming students to have got accidence and health insurance (covering the whole mobility period).
    • Trainees are also obligated to have got (in addition) liability insurance (covering the whole mobility period).

We advise you to leave a xero copy of all above mentioned documents (especially insurance confirmations) at home with the person trusted by you. It may be useful in case of any unexpected situations (as accident, luggage loss or so).

After the study period you will be asked to fill in the anonymous questionnaire.
Its goal is to improve the quality of international student exchange at CUT with every new semester.
